ObeTech Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 June 2026

  • Introduction

Welcome to the ObeTech online platform („Platform”), operated by Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe (PCSS) as part of the Erasmus+ co-funded project ObeTech.

The Platform is provided free of charge and includes the project website, Moodle learning environment, and related educational services.

These Terms of Service („Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

  • Eligibility

The Platform is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

By registering an account, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years of age;
  • the information you provide is accurate and up to date;
  • you will keep your login credentials secure.
  • User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, users are required to create an account and verify their email address.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities carried out under their account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact the Platform administrator immediately.

  • Use of the Platform

The Platform provides access to educational resources, online courses, quizzes, discussion forums, downloadable materials, certificates, micro-credentials, and other learning activities.

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you must not:

  • post unlawful, offensive, abusive, or misleading content;
  • infringe the rights of others;
  • attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
  • impersonate another person or organization.

PCSS reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

  • User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Platform, including forum posts and uploaded files.

By submitting content, you grant PCSS a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that content solely for the operation and administration of the Platform and the implementation of the Erasmus+ project.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

  • Certificates and Micro-credentials

Users who successfully complete designated learning activities may receive certificates and/or micro-credentials, subject to the completion criteria defined within each course.

The issuance of certificates or micro-credentials does not constitute the award of an academic degree or professional qualification unless explicitly stated.

  • Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, educational materials developed within the ObeTech project are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, in accordance with Erasmus+ funding requirements.

Where third-party materials are used, their respective licensing terms shall apply.

  • Privacy

The processing of personal data and the use of cookies are governed by the Platform’s Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy and understand how your personal data is processed.

  • Availability of the Platform

PCSS makes reasonable efforts to ensure the availability of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security measures, or circumstances beyond PCSS’s control.

  • Suspension and Termination

PCSS may suspend or remove a user account if:

  • these Terms are violated;
  • the account is used unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • continued access could compromise the security or operation of the Platform.

Accounts that remain inactive for 12 consecutive months may also be removed. An inactive account is one for which no successful login has occurred during that period.

  • Disclaimer

The Platform is provided for educational purposes only.

Some educational materials or feedback may be generated or supported by artificial intelligence technologies. Such content is intended to support learning and should not be regarded as professional, medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice. Users are encouraged to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PCSS shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.

  • Changes to the Terms

PCSS may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on the Platform together with its effective date.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
